About The Olive Branch
I started practising as a Massage Therapist in 1993 in Plymouth, Devon. I enjoyed it so much that I have gone on to study and qualify in Clinical Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head and Shoulder Massage and Reiki (a traditional form of healing). I have also undertaken an 18 month course in natural nutrition.
I have had a varied and rewarding career, with over 18 years' experience and knowledge. I have worked alongside other healthcare practitioners, such as chiropractors in a multi-disciplinary centre. I spent a year as a practitioner at St Luke's Hospice in Plymouth and for Macmillan Cancer Care. I have also worked on community-based projects, treating the elderly and the socially disadvantaged.
I am fully qualified, insured and affiliated with recognised professional bodies and a member of the (CThA), a leading professional organisation, representing Complementary Therapists in the UK and Ireland. I have attended training days and workshops on a variety of topics to further enhance my knowledge in order to keep up to date with my professional development.
